Having recently moved to London I have been spending most of my free time walking around the city and taking photos. It's probably what I plan to do for most of my weekends! If you haven't already gathered - I quite enjoy taking photos. My friends hate me for it, but I know one day they will thank me when they look back at their fully photo documented lives.
Last week I popped down to FNO with my little sister to have a little wander round (and eat lots of macarons). It was amazing to not just look at the events and displays put on by the different stores but to just stare at most of the immaculately dressed people. I felt really rather unfashionable!
Yesterday an old house mate from Vancouver arrived in London for the first time! She has just started a 3 month backpacking holiday around Europe and naturally we spent the day visiting all the usual tourist spots and laughing at her being excited by old buildings and red buses.
Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog, Beth.
ReplyDeleteSuch amazing photos, was that a Harry Potter themed tube tea towel?
So jealous that you're living in London too, I'm always down there and hate having to come home!
Do you have twitter?
Amy xx
Thanks! It's actually my friend's "geek tube map" t shirt haha!

Thank you! Haha, they really love having a camera in their faces all the time. xx
DeleteIt looks like SOOO much fun! My friend lives there and I'm so jealous of him. I can't wait to visit in the future. I have developed an obsession with macarons, sadly it's a little hard to find here, but I've found a few places. Beautiful photos, glad you're having fun there!
ReplyDeleteThanks! London is pretty awesome. It was my first macaron and I now want more, it was so delicious! xx
DeleteGorgeous photos! Enjoy living in London. It's so wonderful. I'm also glad to know that Brits appreciate Mean Girls and Glen Coco, too.
ReplyDeleteWe Brits very much appreciate Mean Girls and Glen Coco!
DeleteAmaazing photos! And yum, macaroons <3

ReplyDeleteI didn't realise you've only just moved to London. Hope you're settling in well! I've only lived here for a year and there just isn't enough time to do everything I want to!

Yes it's all going fine so far! We returned back from travelling abroad from a year in May and our plan was to move to London so luckily we both had jobs and a flat by mid August! I am loving it so far, just so much to do! xx
DeleteWhat a lovely blog! Just arrived and have a nice cup of tea at hand to explore! Love the pictures you took, so very much un-touristy (at least most of them) which is even nicer to look at ! I lived in London myself for many months (not years though) and I just loved it over there. There is just no place like London! Oh, and those macarons look delish!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Svenja
